The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions and managing cash handling duties. Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with precision and accuracy.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries.
• Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to effectively assist customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and sales.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist in stocking and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
• Utilize retail math skills to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales.
• Proficient in cash handling and operating POS systems.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately.
• Experience in a grocery store setting is a plus.
