WE’RE HIRING: Director of Revenue Management | Mountain Lake
Do you know how to read the numbers, anticipate demand, maximize revenue and turn data into strategy?
We’re looking for a strategic, analytical and results-driven Director of Revenue Management to join the leadership team at historic Mountain Lake Lodge & Resort in Pembroke, Virginia.
This is a key leadership position responsible for developing and executing revenue strategies that maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and overall profitability across the resort.

- Analyzing demand, booking pace & market trends
- Pricing & yield management strategies
- Managing online travel channels & distribution
- Maximizing room revenue, occupancy & ADR
- Analyzing group, wedding & leisure business
- Managing seasonal demand & need periods
- Collaboration with Sales, Marketing & Operations
- Utilizing Opera & iHotelier systems
- Providing leadership with actionable revenue reporting
The ideal candidate is analytical, strategic, curious and confident. Someone who can look at a spreadsheet and see the story behind the numbers—and then turn that story into a strategy.
You understand that revenue management isn’t simply about selling rooms. It’s about selling the right room, to the right guest, through the right channel, at the right price and at the right time.
Experience with Opera and iHotelier is required, along with demonstrated experience in forecasting, budgeting, projecting demand, pricing strategy and managing multiple online travel channels.
Experience in a resort or seasonal destination environment is a plus.
This is a highly collaborative leadership role. You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations and Operations to make sure we’re not just filling rooms—we’re maximizing the value of every opportunity. Keep in mind, this is not an accounting position and you must have previous hotel or resort revenue management experience.
