We’re growing and looking for a Business Manager who can bring both strategic insights and heart to the role —a leader who thrives in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. Someone who loves data and details but also thrives in a culture that values fun, teamwork, mutual respect, and care. This isn’t just about staying organized and managing office operations and financial health, it’s about helping a team of passionate professionals continue to make a lasting difference in children’s lives.

This role blends leadership, financial management and operational oversight with a strong sense of empathy and teamwork. If you’re a natural leader who believes business and heart can go hand in hand, we’d love to meet you.

  • Use data-driven insights to improve systems, workflows, and ensure long-term practice health.
  • Think big-picture—monitoring the overall health of the practice and bringing strategic ideas to leadership.
  • Facilitate providing social media content for our marketing team.

Financial Oversight & Budget Management

  • Oversee budgeting, financial performance, billing accuracy, and resource allocation with precision and transparency.
  • Track key metrics, profitability, and trends with clear reporting that supports smart growth.
  • Manage benefits programs, including 401(k), ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and ensure sustainable growth.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor a team of 10–20 talented employees, creating a workplace where everyone feels seen, supported, and motivated and sees a clear path to growth.
  • Guide recruiting, onboarding, and training to build a skilled team with a focus on positivity, accountability and fun.
  • Build a culture centered around the Practice’s vision and values that celebrates teamwork and compassion with an understanding that when our team thrives, our patients do too.

Operational Oversight & Process Improvement

  • Oversee the daily rhythm of the practice operations ensuring seamless collaboration from the administrative front desk to the clinical back office.
  • Implement systems, tools, and processes that make life easier for employees and patients.
  • Streamline workflows, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.

Patient & Stakeholder Relationships

  • Handle challenges with empathy, clarity, and professionalism, always putting patients and families first.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with patients, families, vendors, and partners.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in business or practice management, preferably in healthcare or dental settings.
  • A track record of leading high-performing teams with warmth and integrity.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and business metrics.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy—values alignment with a family-focused practice.

Preferred Attributes

  • Understanding of Open Dental practice management software or similar and Flex communication software.
  • Experience in pediatric and/or healthcare environments.
  • Passion for creating a positive, family-friendly workplace culture.
  • Masters degree in business administration or healthcare administration
