Ductwork Fabricator/Truck Driver

The Role

We are looking for a reliable Shop Operator/Driver to manage our automated fabrication line and handle regional deliveries.

This is the perfect role for someone who is tech-savvy, organized, and enjoys a mix of indoor production and outdoor driving.

Key Responsibilities

1. Automated Fabrication (In-Shop)

• Machine Operation: Load sheet metal coils or sheets into automated plasma cutters, coil lines, and folders.
• Production Flow: Monitor the automated system to ensure ductwork is being cut and formed to spec.
• Assembly: Take machine-cut parts and perform final assembly (snapping seams, attaching flanges, and sealing).
• Inventory: Keep an eye on material levels and notify the manager when stock is running low.

2. Logistics & Delivery (On the Road)

• Loading: Organize and secure finished ductwork into a 26-foot box truck to prevent damage during transit.
• Delivery: Navigate to commercial job sites and coordinate with field crews for efficient off-loading.
• Vehicle Care: Perform basic safety checks on the truck and maintain a clean driving record.

What You Bring to the Table

• Driving Record: Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR. Experience driving box trucks or large vehicles is required.
• Efficiency: Ability to keep the machines fed and the delivery schedule on track.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to load/unload ductwork and stand for the duration of a shop shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
