Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and access control systems, to detect and respond to suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Conduct thorough background checks on visitors, contractors, and employees to verify identities and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Manage entry points by authorizing access for authorized personnel while denying unauthorized individuals entry.
• Perform routine patrols of the premises, both visually and via security systems, to identify potential hazards or security issues.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies such as medical incidents, fire alarms, or security threats by executing established emergency response procedures like CPR or first aid when necessary.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities, security breaches, or safety concerns.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders during incidents to ensure swift resolution and safety.

Skills

• Proven knowledge of security systems, surveillance technology, and access control systems appreciated but not necessary.
• Strong understanding of physical security principles and emergency response protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for report writing, conflict management, and customer service interactions.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and conduct physical security patrols efficiently.
• Experience in performing background checks and managing operational security procedures.
• Background in military or law enforcement is advantageous for tactical decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated team management skills for coordinating with colleagues during shifts or emergencies.
• Knowledge of compliance with security regulations and operational management best practices.

Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. This job entails walking 4-5 miles through out the night and working at night and on weekends.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
