We are seeking an energetic and dependable Shuttle Bus Driver to join our transportation team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle buses, motor coaches, or similar vehicles along specified routes, ensuring passenger safety at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers warmly, assisting with boarding and alighting, and addressing inquiries professionally
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to verify mechanical condition, fluid levels, brakes, lights, and safety equipment are in proper working order
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and passengers using effective communication skills to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies diligently during driving shifts
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
Experience
- Previous experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or as a delivery driver is highly desirable
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for passenger transportation (e.g., passenger endorsement)
- Experience with paratransit services or school bus driving is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members
- Familiarity with bus driving regulations, safety protocols, and vehicle inspection procedures
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and positive engagement with diverse groups of passengers
