Prior coaching experience is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to build trust and earn the respect of students, exercise sound judgment, and make effective decisions. Applicants should possess knowledge of athletic injury prevention and care, promote transformational coaching practices, and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and the school community. This position requires the physical ability to bend, stoop, grasp, and reach, as well as stand for extended periods on hard surfaces and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. A valid California driver’s license, current First Aid and CPR certification, and completion of required coaching classes. Preference will be given to current Certificated staff
Requirements / Qualifications
Must have completed California Interscholastic Federation Coaching Certification Process. Possession of a valid California Driver's License, First Aid and CPR Certification, and Completion Certificate for Concussion in Sports. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
