Emergency Room Technician
Full Time
Starting Wage:
$
25
/hour
We have a full time, benefited position available; working 3, 12 hour shifts, on NOC shift (5:45pm to 6:15am), with a 7.5% shift differential. Some of the position responsibilities are as follows: Assists the Medical Staff, Registered Nurse or other Emergency personnel as needed; understands and is able to provide quality patient care to Emergency Room patients; perform CPR as needed; observe and report changes in patient status to provide assistance in determining level of acuity; assures that the Emergency Room is appropriately stocked with supplies; transfers or assists with transfer of patients as needed; maintains accurate documentation of information as required; handles laboratory specimens and paperwork for ancillary departments. Minimum qualifications are as follows: Minimum of one year ER Technician training and/or experience preferred, willing to consider a candidate who has a minimum of one year of Nurse Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant experience; BLS required. Starting wage is $25/hour, plus benefits, DOE.
