Director of Skilled Nursing Facility

We have a full time, benefited, management position available. Some of the position responsibilities are as follows: Plans, develops, implements and evaluates patient/resident care, personnel and fiscal management systems in conjunction with Administration, Patient Services and other department directors; Coordinates and participates, with various employee groups and teams, continuous quality assurance and CQI and compliance activities; Understands Trinity Hospital policies and procedures for hiring, evaluation and corrective action. Facilitates, as needed, proper professional interaction; Maintains policy and procedure manual following Title 22 and OBRA(CMS) guidelines for this area. Instructs staff on content and proper use; Ensures that management and supervisory coverage is scheduled for all absences from facility; Coordinates and attends SNF quarterly meetings as scheduled; Provides educational programs and activities for employees as necessary and/or assigned; Plans, develops, implements, monitors and evaluates CQI indicators for the SNF. Facilitates involvement of employees and Medical Staff. Minimum qualifications for the position are as follows: Associate Degree of Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred; CPR certification required; Minimum of two years clinical experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities required; Prior management experience preferred; Demonstrated ability to apply theories of personnel and fiscal management systems in the Skilled Nursing Environment; Current California Registered Nurse License required. Wage range is $140k-$160k/annually DOE, plus benefits.
