$30.00 - $40.00 per hour (Depending on Experience) | Full-Time, 40 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Setup Programmer Machinist to lead our Lathe/Turning Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming, setting up, and operating multi-axis lathes, with specific expertise in 3-axis live tooling and MasterCam Lathe programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC lathes, including bar-fed live tool lathes with part catchers.
- Utilize MasterCam Lathe for programming complex parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and ensure precision in machining processes.
- Perform quality checks to meet tight tolerances and specifications.
- Inspections are done in conjunction with and under approval of the QC team.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
- We have a production schedule from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and an office schedule from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Quality and Shipping and Receiving follow the office schedule.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience programming, setting up, and operating multi-axis lathes.
- Minimum 5 years of MasterCam Lathe programming experience.
- Proficiency with 3-axis live tooling and bar-fed lathe operations.
- Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
