Duties
- Monitor pool areas continuously to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and assisting with guest needs
- Oversee guest activities to promote a fun, respectful environment for children and adults alike
- Respond promptly to emergencies or conflicts using conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively
- Conduct routine inspections of pool facilities, ensuring cleanliness, proper equipment operation, and adherence to safety protocols
Requirements
- Previous lifeguard experience or certification is highly preferred; certification in CPR and first aid is required upon hiring
- Strong background in customer service, with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Experience in event management or hosting activities is a plus; comfortable engaging with diverse groups including children and families
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in conflict management and guest relations to resolve issues diplomatically and efficiently
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions with the physical ability to stand, walk, or lift for extended periods
- Experience in hospitality settings such as resorts or theaters is advantageous; familiarity with food service or public speaking is beneficial
