Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, processing cash and card payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating spaces, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle food and beverage preparation with attention to food handling protocols and hygiene practices
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing questions or concerns promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management to keep the café well-equipped
Experience
- Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and beverage service standards
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing sales efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
