Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shower Aide (CNA1 (GNA)) to join our team at Mountain City Rehab Center in Frostburg, Maryland. As a Shower Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, focusing on their personal hygiene, comfort, and well-being. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive compensation and great benefit packages.
Responsibilities:
Provide bath/shower care to at least 9-10 residents in the 8-hour shift, including shaving, nail care, and skin integrity checks
Complete skin sheets on showers completed and report any changes in skin conditions requiring treatment
Document care provided accurately and thoroughly
Pass ice and water, as needed
Assist with serving and feeding residents in the dining room during mealtimes
Assist with transfers from bed to wheelchairs
Complete other CNA duties as needed, including answering call bells
Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control protocols
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
CNA-1 (GNA) License
Ability to think and work independently and with direction
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
Good communication skills and bedside manner with a compassionate personality
Up-to-date identification
Basic computer skills
