Snowmaker – Winter 2026/2027
Location: Brian Head Resort | Department: Mountain Operations
Type: Seasonal | Start Date: November 2026 | End Date: April 2027
Love working outside and building the foundation of winter fun?
Snowmakers are the behind-the-scenes pros who help deliver the snow our mountain depends on. You’ll work in varied weather and terrain conditions to operate snow guns, monitor snow quality, and support the opening of trails across the Resort.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up, operate, and monitor snowmaking equipment across the mountain.
- Inspect snow guns, hoses, and water lines for proper function.
- Evaluate weather and temperature conditions to optimize snow production.
- Safely navigate terrain using snowmobiles or utility vehicles.
- Communicate clearly with the Mountain Ops director to coordinate trail readiness.
- Perform routine maintenance and tear-down of snowmaking systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Is dependable, punctual, and maintains a strong work ethic.
- Loves being outdoors, in the mountains, and being active!
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions such as wind, rain, and snow.
- Can lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- Must be able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous snowmaking experience is preferred - but not required.
