F&B Guest Services Associate
General Purpose:
The Service Associate is expected to perform regular serving duties including but not limited to: full table, to go and app order service responsibilities, upkeep of cleaning and opening and closing procedures, general care of venue tasks and responsibilities and necessary steps and actions to ensure quality of both service and preparation of service items.
This is a seasonal position from November 2025 to April 2025. Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the applicant and needs of the business. Hiring for our seasonal positions occurs on a rolling basis. This position will remain open until filled.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Table, to go and online order quality control
- Providing excellent guest service, making all guests feel welcome and taken care of during all parts of their visit
- Team tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors
- Kitchen prep and clean up duties before, during & after shift
- Individual weekly and monthly responsibilities
- General upkeep and cleaning of venue
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergy information
- Understanding of point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic math for handling bills, payments, and tips (if applicable)
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Familiarity with wine, beer, and cocktail service (if applicable)
Awareness of dining room flow and table-turn strategies - Understanding of guest service principles and conflict resolution practices
Skills
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks during high volume periods
- Attention to detail in order taking and/or order delivery
- Basic math and cash handling skills (if applicable)
- Ability to upsell food and beverages to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Teamwork and coordination with kitchen and bar teams
Abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Ability to memorize menu items and specials quickly
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and glassware
- Ability to respond to guest needs and complaints with a positive attitude
- Ability to adapt to changes in guest volume or staff availability
- Physically be able to lift up to 80 lbs multiple times during each shift
Education and Experience:
- TIPS Colorado State On Premise Certification; required for all servers & cashiers who sell alcohol.
- Serv-Safe food safety certification, preferred
Working Environment/Physical Activities:
Day-to-day work environment may include physical activity up to and including lifting, moving or carrying up to 80 lbs multiple times a day. Weather conditions are variable, Service Associate positions will mainly be indoors during business hours, however, winter weather is a large part of the every day environment for all venues and some duties do require being outdoors for certain tasks and weather conditions will vary significantly.
Salary : $15
