Duties
- Lead and coordinate shift operations to ensure seamless service delivery in a quick service and fast food restaurant setting
- Supervise staff performance, including training, coaching, and developing team members to meet operational standards
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Toast POS system; perform cash handling duties with integrity
- Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and sanitation procedures across all areas of the restaurant
- Assist in interviewing and onboarding new team members; support ongoing training & development initiatives
- Support management in budgeting, shift scheduling, and maintaining a positive work environment
- Address customer concerns promptly to guarantee satisfaction and foster loyalty
- Supervise kitchen operations, including food production, catering, bar service, and banquet events when applicable
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within casual dining or quick service environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices
- Ability to train staff effectively in food production, safety procedures, and service excellence
- Experience in managing shift operations within a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and food industry best practices for operational efficiency
- Strong communication skills paired with the ability to motivate a team toward shared goals
- Background in hospitality management or hotel experience is a plus; culinary or catering experience is beneficial
