Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Window Blind and Shade Technician to join our Eagle/Summit County team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise and efficient installation of blinds, shades, shutters, drapes and awnings in upscale residences. You will work primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor installations of awnings. As an Window Blind & Shade Technician, you will represent our company, so professionalism and a keen eye for detail are crucial.
Responsibilities:
- Install High-End Window Treatments: Install a variety of window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, drapes and awnings, ensuring a perfect fit and finish.
- Handle Tools and Equipment: Use basic tools, including drills and ladders, to complete installations. Must be comfortable working with these tools safely.
- Technical Capability: Basic programming of motorized blinds and shades.
- Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for clients' homes. Communicate effectively and courteously with clients and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards, paying close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Training and Certification: Participate in training provided by the employer and pursue certification opportunities through our partner, Hunter Douglas.
- Safety: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in installation or a related field is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Skills: Proficiency with basic tools and equipment. Ability to safely use ladders.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy items. Comfortable working at heights on ladders.
- Driver’s Licensing Requirement: Applicants must hold a valid and unrestricted driver’s license at the time of employment and maintain it throughout the duration of employment.
