Position Overview:

The SEO Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing search engine optimization strategies to support Mountain Air Marketing and our clients’ organic growth goals. This role requires an analytical, strategic, and detail-oriented individual who excels in keyword research, on-page and technical optimization, content strategy, and performance analysis across a variety of industries. You will play a key role in increasing visibility, improving search rankings, and driving qualified organic traffic.
Key Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesStrategy & Execution
- Develop and manage SEO strategies for multiple clients.
- Perform keyword research, site audits, and on-page optimization.
- Improve site structure, internal linking, and user experience with SEO best practices.
- Conduct competitor research to find gaps and opportunities.
Performance & Reporting
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, CTR, and conversions.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
- Create clear, regular reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Make data-driven recommendations to improve ROI and hit growth goals.
Content & Collaboration
- Partner with content and creative teams to optimize blogs, landing pages, and site copy.
- Ensure metadata, headings, and on-page elements follow SEO best practices.
- Align SEO strategy with paid media and organic social for a cohesive digital presence.
Technical SEO
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues (crawlability, indexing, site speed, mobile, etc.).
- Work with developers to implement fixes and improvements.
- Ensure proper tracking, goals, and events are set up in analytics platforms.
Non Negotiables:
- Proven experience managing SEO accounts and driving organic growth.
- Portfolio or case studies with SEO results (before/after or growth examples).
- Hands-on experience with major SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data and KPIs.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Solid project management and ability to juggle multiple clients or projects.
