Duties

• Operate laundry machines to wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, and other textiles with care and precision
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sinks, machines, and storage spaces
• Assist with general housekeeping tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal to uphold high standards of cleanliness
• Support custodial duties across the facility, including floor care such as buffing and polishing to ensure a safe and attractive environment
• Follow proper safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a secure workspace
• Assist with light maintenance tasks related to laundry equipment or facility upkeep as needed
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively and supporting other housekeeping staff

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, with a strong understanding of custodial procedures
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing surfaces
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning supplies
• Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently
• Experience in residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality standards

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
