Job Summary:
The Outside Services Attendant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to all members and guests. This position is responsible for assisting with day-to-day outside operations, including bag drop, cart staging, cleaning, and driving range setup and breakdown. The ideal candidate is friendly, proactive, and committed to providing a welcoming and organized golf experience.
???? Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
- Load and unload golf bags from vehicles and golf carts
- Prepare, clean, and stage golf carts for daily play and events
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cart barn and staging areas
- Assist with setup and maintenance of the driving range, including filling range balls and rotating stations
- Provide accurate information about tee times, course layout, and club policies
- Keep the bag storage area neat and retrieve/store bags as needed
- Perform opening and closing duties to ensure readiness of the facility
- Support tournaments and special events with setup and breakdown
- Report equipment issues or member concerns to golf staff promptly
- Uphold Mount Vernon’s values of friendliness, professionalism, and service excellence

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather
- Previous experience in golf operations or customer service is a plus
- Knowledge of the game of golf is preferred but not required
