We're a busy small clinic with a big heart, located in the Mount Vernon area of Alexandria, VA. We've been a part of the community for over 50 years and we're committed to providing the very best care for pets and their people. Our clients are like family, and we all work together to educate, advise, and provide excellent medical care and outstanding customer service. Every day will be different, plus there are animals to cuddle.
We're looking for team members who are excited about being part of the pet health care team, who are reliable and want to care for our client's pets like they were their own. Being a small practice, we are looking for someone who is able to take on both Customer Care and Animal Care.
Customer care specialists are in charge of greeting clients, making appointments, checking patients in and out and basic computer work. You'll be our public face; we want people who are cheerful and enjoy working with people. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Animal care specialists are in charge of walking dogs, maintaining clean cages and runs, doing basic cleaning duties such as laundry, sweeping and mopping, and being our eyes and ears in the kennel area. You must be physically able to lift 40 lbs and be on your feet for an extended period of time. Exercise and social time for our boarding pets is also very important.

Hours will vary occasionally but are usually the same for a few weeks at a time, however we can be flexible when scheduling to an extent. Some weekend hours will be required, once you are trained.
We are looking for 1 part-time employee that is available Monday Mid-day, Tuesday and Thursday in the afternoon/early evening, Wednesday or Friday mornings and rotating Saturday’s and Sunday’s once trained. Bilingual Spanish is a bonus
