Purpose Statement
The purpose of a Teacher position at Mount Tabor UMC Afterschool Care is to provide a fun and safe environment for the students in a Christian program.
Position Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED
· Minimum age requirement is 18 years old
· Demonstrate a strong faith in Jesus Christ in life and practice
· First Aid and CPR training (preferred)
· Criminal Background Check (to be provided)
· Drug Test (to be provided)
· Safe Sanctuaries Training (to be provided)
Job Description
· Be reliable and dependable
· Enforce, as well as demonstrate program rules and policies
· Monitor/facilitate activities planned by Administration in the Classroom/Gym/Playground
· Additional duties may include meeting buses upon arrival, serving snack, monitoring homework and monitoring hallways
Salary and hours
· Hourly pay is $13
· Part-time, around 12-15 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
· Hours will fall between 2:45 PM-5:15 PM
· Some flexibility in days and hours worked
· Additional work hours may be scheduled for staff training, meeting or special program events

· Program is closed on inclement weather days if schools are closed or close early
