Job Description Summary:
Medical Technologist
- Job in Miami Beach, FL.
- Perform laboratory procedures in all areas of microbiology.
- Process patient samples and perform laboratory tests for bacteriology, serology and molecular diagnostics.
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Perform stat procedures within established turnaround time targets.
- Review pending logs and result logs.
- Result any outstanding workload.
- Perform quality control procedures.
- Multiple positions available.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Clinical Laboratory, Medical Technology, Biological Science, or a related field and five years of progressive experience as a Medical Technologist or related.
- Requires a Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (or eligible).
- Must possess experience with clinical laboratory testing including hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and clinical chemistry; and troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of analyzers and lab equipment.
