Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or currently in you final symester at an accredited college/university, pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS in IT, Engineering or related analytical field of study

What does the position entail?
- Address emerging hospital patient safety, quality of care, and improved patient outcome initiatives in addition tosystem enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Oversee the full life-cycle management of clinical applications.
- Opportunities for travel to earn EPIC Certifications.
- Learn different IT clinical systems including EPIC, our Electronic Health Record.
- Work side by side with nurses and physician leaders in the development of evidence based electronic order sets.
- Device integration between biomedical equipment and the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) for nurses and physicians
- Analyze, document, and design a new electronic workflow for emerging physician practices currently using paper.
- Develop or update existing hospital workflows to meet new regulatory EHR incentive programs.
- Work along the business office to update hospital reimbursement contracts and automate refund transactions.
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree or currently enrolled at an accredited college/university, pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS in a related analytical field with a GPA >3.0.
- Demonstrates analytical/problem solving skills.
- NO Information Technology experience is required
