Mount Sinai West seeks a full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist!

The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Mount Sinai Health System (Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai) is seeking a full-time Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist to join our wonderful faculty at the Mount Sinai West.

Mount Sinai West is a full-service medical center with a 24/7 emergency department, proudly serving patients from Midtown and the West Side of Manhattan, New York City, and beyond. We have a rich history of medical innovation, and are well-renowned for numerous specialty clinical services, including orthopedics, hand surgery, breast surgery, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, vascular surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neonatal intensive care, and urology. We offer special expertise in the treatment of intracerebral hemorrhage, movement disorders, epilepsy, complex aortic aneurysms, and kidney stones.

Candidates should be Board certified or Board eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine with credentials commensurate with faculty appointment at the assistant professor or associate professor level. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to academic medicine, research and patient care as well as fellow, resident and medical student education.

Requirements for physicians include successful completion of a U.S. accredited OB/GYN residency training program and a NY State Medical license. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in all aspects of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice at The Mount Sinai West and affiliated practices, including ultrasound services, invasive diagnostic procedures, and MFM consultations. The salary is extremely competitive and commensurate with level of experience.

Qualifications
  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License 
  • Board Certified in OB/GYN 
  • Fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine 
  • Active DEA license
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
  • Demonstrated professional competence and integrity and ethical conduct of practice
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and effective conflict resolution skills 
  • Patient focused and committed to providing outstanding and compassionate care and service to all patients 
  • Demonstrated commitment to Mount Sinai’s mission, vision and values
  • Strong computer skills and EMR knowledge

Compensation range from 450K to 600K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
