This position provides a wide variety of administrative support services to Cardiovascular Surgeon and the supporting team of physicians

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patients from around the world.
  • Coordinates all patient evaluations and associated medical testing
  • Manages the physician's calendar
  • Provides patients with detailed information on travel to the practice
  • Keeps in close communication with patient and family to assist with questions or concerns
  • Performs other related duties

Education:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of experience; Bachelor's preferred

Experience:

  • 4 years related administrative experience in healthcare; preferably in a surgeon's practice
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills
  • Must be detailed oriented and have exceptional proofreading skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • MS Word, Excel and EPIC experience
