Job Title: Adjunct Faculty in Genetics
Reports To: Chair, Division of Natural Science
Status: Contract, Part-Time
The Natural Sciences Division at Mount Saint Mary College seeks qualified individuals to teach a section of Genetics lecture, beginning Fall 2026, but also with the possibility of an ongoing basis. Genetics is a sophomore level majors course examining the principles, mechanisms and methodologies of classical and molecular genetics. Previously developed materials are available for use. This course is offered during the traditional 15-week semester schedule, from the end of August through the beginning of December.
Qualifications include: A Master’s degree or higher is required in biology or a related field. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. All offers of employment are contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
