Mount Prospect Academy (MPA) is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Clinical Director to oversee clinical operations at our residential treatment program in the heart of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. As Clinical Director, you’ll be the cornerstone of our therapeutic community—guiding clinicians, shaping treatment strategies, and ensuring exceptional care for adolescents with complex behavioral and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor Milieu Clinicians and Permanency Coordinators through supervision and training.
- Oversee clinical processes and case management from intake through discharge.
- Build a strengths-based, trauma-informed environment that fosters growth.
- Implement evidence-based treatment plans and monitor outcomes.
- Deliver staff training and professional development to elevate care standards.
- Provide crisis intervention support and participate in on-call rotation.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Carry an active caseload (2–3 clients) and engage in individual and group settings.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise drives both clinical excellence and team success.

- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
- Licensed in NH as LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, Ph.D., or Psy.D.
- 3–5 years of experience working with emotionally or behaviorally intensive individuals.
- Valid driver’s license and 21 years of age.
- Successful completion of background and pre-employment checks.
