Outdoor Education Paraeducator Location: Plymouth, NH Pay: Up to $21hour Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift Reports To: Dean of Students and Academic Director Join Us in Guiding Youths. Mount Prospect Academy (MPA) is seeking a motivated and inspired Outdoor Education Paraeducator to support students during outdoor programming and academic activities. This is a unique opportunity to combine education, adventure, and mentorship in a therapeutic school setting. About Mount Prospect Academy Founded in 2003, MPA provides a wide range of mental health and educational services to adolescents who are “hard to treat” and “difficult to place.” Our programs include residential treatment, group homes, special education schools, and community-based services across New England. We specialize in helping youth who have struggled in traditional settings find success through individualized support and experiential learning. What You’ll Do Supervise and engage students in outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing, ropes courses, mountain biking, and paintball. Support classroom instruction and assist with individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with teachers and the academic team to ensure student safety and success. Assist with behavioral interventions and model emotional regulation strategies. Participate in daily routines, student meetings, and professional development. Provide transportation for students and support community-based activities.
