Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients ranging from newborns through adolescents
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments per physician orders
- Conduct patient assessments, record vital signs, and document findings in the EMR system
- Educate parents and caregivers on child health, development, and wellness best practices
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor in-office procedures
- Triage patient calls and walk-ins, prioritizing care based on clinical urgency
- Maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly clinical environment
Requirements:
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of South Carolina
- Previous pediatric or clinical nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication skills with children, parents, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and empathetic in high-stress situations
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care
