- Develop editorial concepts and themes for each issue of Mount Pleasant Magazine
- Plan and assign feature stories and articles to freelance writers
- Write feature stories, profiles, and additional editorial content as needed
- Manage communication with writers and ensure all assignments are completed on deadline
- Edit all submitted articles for grammar, clarity, style, and consistency
- Ensure the entire magazine meets editorial standards before publication
- Collaborate with the internal team during the production process to finalize content
- Strong writing and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience editing long-form articles and feature stories
- Ability to manage multiple writers and deadlines simultaneously
