Mobile Service Technician

Mount Pleasant Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is expanding our customer service reach with a state-of-the-art Spiffy-equipped mobile service van, and we’re looking for a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, customer-focused technician who enjoys working independently and delivering dealership-quality service directly to our customers’ homes or workplaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance and factory recall work on customer vehicles using the mobile service van
• Services include oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, wiper and filter changes, fluid checks, and similar minor repairs
• Follow manufacturer-approved repair procedures and maintain compliance with warranty and recall processes
• Ensure the mobile van and all tools/equipment remain clean, organized, and in proper working condition
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to explain services and vehicle condition
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, service advisors, and the fixed operations team
• Promote the Mount Pleasant CDJR brand through excellent service and professionalism in the field
  
  

Qualifications

• Vehicle, Appliance, HVAC, Cable, Pool Mobile Repair experience preferrerd
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer literacy (CDK or similar DMS experience a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle service work
