What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Teacher Assistant-Generic position at Mount Pleasant Independent School District?
As assigned by campus administrator
Education Required: High school diploma or GED required Prefer Associates Degree or 48 hours of college
Certificates/License Required: Able to obtain Paraprofessional Certificate
Experience Required: Experience working with children/youth is a must. **This may include babysitting, volunteer work, church group, care of siblings/minors or educational prep-programs.**
Abilities Required: Good communication skills with both students and adults; Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
Physical/Mental Demands: Withstand demands of working students
Extracurricular Duties: Duties as assigned (hall or bus duties)
