As assigned by Special Education Director;
Implement the Special Educational assessment process.
Assess the educational, learning styles, and program needs of students referred to special education services.

 

Educational Requirements:
Master's Degree

Certificate/License Requirements:
Valid Texas Certification in any of the following: Educational Diagnostician Certification, Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)

Experience Requirements:
Classroom Teacher, ARD IEP, and Formal Assessment, Experience working with special needs individuals in an educational setting.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
Organizational skills, Good communication, Interpretation of Assessment Data, Special Education Regulations, Ability to work with a team in collaborative manner

Physical/Mental Demands:
Carrying large files and technology from campus to campus, must be physically and mentally capable of working with active, mentally and behaviorally challenged students.
