Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated, confident, and experienced Overnight Urgent Care Veterinary Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to excellent patient care. You should be passionate about animal health, skilled in your craft, and excited to work closely with a collaborative medical team.
Ideal candidates will have:
2 years of veterinary experience (urgent care or emergency preferred)
A strong work ethic and positive, team-first attitude
A passion for patient care and client education
The ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Core Skills We’re Seeking
Safe and effective animal restraint
Collecting and processing lab samples (blood, urine, etc.)
Administering oral and injectable medications
Taking comprehensive medical and vaccine histories
Assisting in sedation and post-op recovery
Following sterilization and biosecurity protocol
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Monitor hospitalized patients, including vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition.
Accurately calculate, prepare, and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
Perform laboratory tests, diagnostics, and patient care tasks as needed
Maintain detailed, accurate electronic medical records throughout the shift
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding patient status, treatments, and home care instructions when applicable
Collaborate effectively with veterinarians and overnight team members in a fast-paced environment
Maintain hospital cleanliness, organization, and strict infection-control standards
Respond calmly and professionally to emergencies and changing patient needs
