What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraeducator position at Mount Holly Elementary School?
Mount Holly School is seeking a paraprofessional educator for the 2025-2026 school year. The following are requirements of this demanding position.
Assist during teacher directed instruction
Monitor students during independent or group activities
Prepare curriculum materials with direction from the teacher
Monitor student safety in a variety of settings
Work with students who are diverse learners
Help students access curriculum, with support
Help with student accommodations and modifications
Support social interaction with students
Any other duty assigned by the supervisor in supporting students
The ideal candidate should have a high level of energy and work well with all students. The hourly rate will be commensurate with experience and driven by the collective bargaining agreement ($17.35 - $21.35 per hour). 48 college credits or taking the ParaPro exam is required.
