Responsibilities of the Custodial Building Lead include, but are not limited to: 1. implements custodial assignment and schedule changes and manages any coverage issues due to absence;2.
in collaboration with the building principal or their designee, schedules custodians for coverage of facilities and grounds for non-school time activities, events, and programs and oversees the preparation of school building facilities and grounds for designated non-school time activities, events and programs;3.
responds to and takes appropriate action with respect to off-hours building issues through both on-site and remote efforts with Custodial Building Lead overtime pay;collaborates with building principal on custodial employee evaluations;5.
assists the building principal in the recruitment and hiring of custodial staff; 6.
receives notice of contracted building maintenance, inspection, and repair appointments from the Director of Operations or their designee, and receives any associated contractors;7.
reviews building function and cleanliness status and collaborates with the building principal and Director of Operations on ways to improve any issues;8.
makes recommendations to the building and district administration with respect to annual budgeting needs.For the above responsibilities, Custodial Building Leads shall receive a stipend (of $15,759 for which will be prorated based on start date) on top of their regular wages;The base hourly rate for the Custodial Building Lead shall be the top step of the Custodial salary schedule ($25.
