The groundskeeper is responsible for performing general janitorial duties including landscaping and grounds maintenance mainly outside of the distribution center.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Trims, cuts and removes scrubs, bushes and trees.
- Inspects and maintains common areas and reports deficiencies.
- Inspects and maintains the exterior of the property and reports deficiencies.
- Mows lawns when necessary.
- Ensures pathways, stairs, outdoor seating and other structures are safe.
- Maintains exterior walkways and driveways clean and in neat appearance.
- Cleans landscaping tools and equipment after each use.
- Cleans the warehouse floor with the floor sweeper machine.
- Must wear anti-slippery, steel-toe shoes, gloves, and a safety vest.
- Maintains and reports inventory levels of all cleaning supplies minimizing waste.
- Must be able to concentrate on their tasks and follow written and verbal directions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Other duties can be assigned based on the needs of the company.
