General Description:
Under close supervision & coordination, cleans and sanitizes production machinery, and floors after production shut-down and ensures all food contact areas have been deep cleaned and sanitized in the short time given. Techs will utilize both CIP and COP techniques.

- Complies and enforces all safety rules regarding personal safety
- Reports any unsafe conditions and/or practices to his/her immediate supervisor
- Complies and enforces the company’s food safety, food quality and food defense systems
- Complies with all safety, health, and environmental company’s policies and procedures
- Reports any work-related injury to immediate supervisor and Lead
- Carries proper employee identification when on company premises
- Vehicle will always show parking permit when on company premises
- Rubber safety boots will always be worn while working
- All PPE will be used while at work
- Complies and enforces Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Complies and enforces food quality and food safety.
- Becomes personally accountable for the highest quality and integrity standards of behavior, honesty, and fairness in all aspects of the job
- Machinery, tools, & floor should be in safe conditions to run production at the time scheduled
- Stuffed Puffs preparation areas, injection areas, and packaging areas, all machines, floors, drains, ceiling, and walls
- Steel-toe/anti-slip rubber boots, rubber gloves, safety glasses, bump cap, hairnet, smock, beard net
- Washes and sanitizes equipment according to Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and machine verification list
- Handles food utensils, scales, equipment, and surfaces according to establishes guidelines
- Covers all machinery, utensils, scales, and tables with plastic to avoid contamination after cleaning and sanitizing have been completed
- Dispose of all waste in proper containers and report quantities to Team Lead so it can be documented properly
- Wash all floors and sanitize all drains
- Cleans plant areas in accordance with MSS
- Notifies Sanitation Supervisor or Supervisor on shift concerning needs for major repairs for lighting, heating, and ventilating system.
- Reading chemical labels or Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to learn how to properly handle chemicals they will be using
