Westaff is hiring a store room associate for our client in Burlington, MA
Our client is a tile showroom and looking to hire an associate that can join the team.
Duties of the Store room associate:
- Receive, catalog, and organize product samples in the sample room, ensuring seamless accessibility.
- Maintain an accurate inventory system, tracking sample movement, availability, and distribution.
- Proactively monitor sample stock levels, request replenishments as needed, and optimize storage for efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of all sample activity, including tracking systems and databases.
- Generate reports on sample utilization, inventory levels, and any discrepancies to support showroom operations.
- Keep the sample room clean, organized, and visually appealing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and team members.
- Regularly update displays and sample presentation areas to showcase products effectively.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with showroom staff and internal teams to uphold brand standards and exceed client expectations.
- Assist with additional showroom and sales-related tasks as needed to enhance the client’s experience.
Qualifications of the Store Room Associate:
- High school diploma required; additional education or certifications in inventory management, logistics, or a related field are a plus.
- Experience in sample coordination, inventory management, or a similar role within a showroom, design, manufacturing, or product-related environment.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in tracking and managing inventory.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems or software for cataloging and tracking samples.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with basic safety procedures and regulations for handling different types of samples.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings, and special events as needed.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. for sample movement and showroom maintenance.
