The Registered Respiratory Therapist functions as a performance level respiratory therapist in providing therapeutic procedures and diagnostic testing to the chronically and acutely ill patients requiring respiratory procedures.

Responsibilities
- Creates a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of care
- Ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism
- Successful completion of 2 or 4 year Respiratory Care Program degree
- Required to be a Certified Respiratory Therapist, obtaining RRT within 90 Days
- Will pay for National Board Respiratory Credentialing to assist in becoming a Registered Respiratory Therapist
