The Respiratory Assistant I functions in administering and performing respiratory therapy floor care under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner.

Position Purpose:
The Respiratory Assistant I functions in administering and performing respiratory therapy floor care under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner.
What You Will Do
- Clean respiratory equipment and prepare it for use by Respiratory Therapists
- Check for expired medications and supplies
- Assemble airway boxes and carts
- Stock supplies in respiratory department and on nursing units
- Education: Enrolled in, and in good standing in a formal respiratory care educational program.
- Licensure / Certification: N/A
- Maintain current BLS certification
