About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee all manufacturing operations at our dog treat production facility. This is a leadership role responsible for the overall performance of the plant — from production efficiency and quality control to staff management and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in manufacturing leadership and is ready to drive continuous improvement across all aspects of plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
∙ Oversee all day-to-day manufacturing operations across the entire facility
∙ Lead, develop, and manage production supervisors and floor staff
∙ Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met
∙ Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure full regulatory compliance
∙ Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs
∙ Manage plant budgets, labor costs, and operational expenses
∙ Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiency
∙ Collaborate directly with ownership on production planning and business goals
∙ Maintain accurate production reports and present performance metrics to ownership
∙ Ensure all food safety and manufacturing compliance standards are upheld
Requirements
∙ Minimum 2 years of experience in a plant management or senior manufacturing leadership role required
∙ Background in food manufacturing, pet products, or consumer goods production preferred
∙ Strong knowledge of manufacturing best practices, safety regulations, and quality control
∙ Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a production environment
∙ Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
∙ Experience managing budgets and operational costs
∙ Ability to work on-site and be present across shifts as needed
