- Report to Head Coach
- Design and implement a 12-week sprint training program that prepares athletes for success throughout the season.
- Differentiate training plans for varsity and junior varsity athletes to meet a wide range of ability levels.
- Manage and organize daily practices for a program of 80 student-athletes, with the support of two to three assistant coaches.
- Lead practice planning, ensuring sessions are structured, efficient, and engaging.
- Adjust training and practice schedules in response to weather-related challenges while maintaining program consistency.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes growth, commitment, and sportsmanship.
- Must have competed at the varsity level in high school track & field (sprints).
- College track experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience coaching sprints, including planning and implementing sprint-specific training.
- Proven ability to lead and manage large groups of student-athletes in a team setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
