Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commissioning Engineer in various locations to include but not limed to Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Illinois & Wisconsin. The primary responsibilities include conducting a wide range of tests, inspecting and verifying mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure their proper functionality, and troubleshooting issues as needed. The Commissioning Engineer will be involved in overseeing and coordinating testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems meet project requirements and design specifications. The role demands collaboration with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes for each project.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electrical Testing and Testing activities
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in Commissioning Engineering processes
- Proven skills in Troubleshooting and problem-solving for mechanical and electrical systems
- Background in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, contractors, and project teams
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred
- Professional licensure or certifications relevant to commissioning or electrical engineering are a plus
