What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Technician position at Motus Integrated Technologies?
We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on problem solver who is excited about taking Motus to the NEXT level. The Process Technician will be responsible for setting up, start-up, diagnosing and maintaining process controls on all equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor production for accuracy and efficiency, including collaboration with quality department to ensure part meets all quality and performance specifications
- Follow production schedule to maximize uptime
- Lead downtime troubleshooting
- Ensure all work cells are correct after mold changes
- Assist with process changes as necessary
- Create new waterjet recipes for new tools or tools moving from one line to another
- Start-up processes after mold changes
- Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot molding processes and problems
- Identify and recommend improvements and support all company continuous improvements activities.
- Support Process Engineer in resolving product non-conformity issues
- Ensure procedures and process followed by all employees
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree or Technical Degree preferred
- 2 years’ experience in a process technician environment
- Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills
