Job Summary:

As a Crew Member at Motu Indian Kitchen, you will be a key part of our team, ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service and enjoy our unique fusion of Indian flavors. You will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service to our guests. Greet customers, take orders, and ensure their dining experience is excellent.
• Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of menu items, following established recipes and procedures. Ensure all food is prepared with the highest quality standards.
• Order Accuracy: Accurately assemble and package orders for dine-in, takeout, and delivery, ensuring all items meet our quality and presentation standards.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms. Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations. Support colleagues by helping with tasks as needed.
• Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, process payments, and provide accurate change. Follow cash handling procedures and ensure the register is balanced at the end of the shift.
• Stocking and Inventory: Assist with receiving and stocking supplies, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and properly rotated.
• Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, cleanliness, and workplace safety.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service environment is preferred but not required. We provide training for all new team members.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attitude: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow. Must be a team player.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds regulary, 50 pounds sometimes, and perform tasks that involve repetitive motion.
