Loan Officer/Originator for Delaware, Maryland, and Chester County Pennsylvania
Motto Mortgage Prosperity is seeking a licensed, experienced, and forward-thinking Loan Officer/Originator.
As an MLO, you will evaluate, authorize, or recommend approval of residential real estate loans.
Motto Mortgage is a mortgage broker so you can shop the best lenders to get the best rate and product for your clients. We control our pricing so you never have to lose a client, as well as having an in-house processor to facilitate your ability to close more loans faster.
We also provide Wemlo (a Motto Mortgage owned LOS and processing company), Spark, a marketing budget for Loan originators, access to a premier exclusive video marketing team to help promote you and your business.
Motto Mortgage Prosperity enjoys a relationship with one of the top real estate teams in the country representing over 200 buyer clients per year. This relationship offers an excellent opportunity to capture additional referral business via a convenient, one-stop shopping experience for the consumer.
In addition, we provide borrower prospects and appointments from our 50,000 home buyer database which are nurtured by our inside sales team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation
- Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
- Provide Pre-Qualification and Pre-Approvals
- Communicate with clients either to request or to provide timely information
- Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report them to the client in a timely manner
- Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
- Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
- Maintain and update account records and CRM and other data as needed
- Assess customer needs, explore all options and qualification for different types of loans
- Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas
Qualifications
- NMLS License
- Origination experience in the current mortgage industry is a must
- Ability to utilize a CRM system, and Spark
- Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and effectively with highly productive real estate agents
- Work with real estate agents from contract to close
- Follow up consistently to warm leads provided
- Keep accurate records utilizing the dedicated in-house systems
- Demonstrate strong communication and decision-making skills
Compensation
$80,000 annual compensation possibility
