What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Management position at Motown Thrift?
RMS Management of Michigan is currently looking for retail management candidates. Two years experience is preferred, however, is not necessary as we are willing to train the right individual. Our ideal candidate for this position should have the drive and desire to thrive and excel in a unique thrift retail environment. We have a passion for being green and helping local communities and would like to share our passion with others.
Daily activities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Closing the store (occasional opening shifts will be required on a weekly basis)
2. Making bank deposits
3. Working with excel spreadsheets and various reporting
4. Light bookkeeping
5. Training AND coaching 20-30 team members on a daily basis
6. Create a fun and exciting environment for your employees and customers
7. Price and stock merchandise on a daily basis
8. Engaging in recycling and green initiatives
9. Identify unique, rare, antique, one of a kind items
