We are looking for a motivated Shop Helper to join our team and support our daily operations.
The Role
As a Shop Helper, you will be the backbone of our shop’s efficiency. You will assist our Master Technicians with daily tasks, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure our customers' vehicles are handled with the highest level of care. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in European automotive service.
Key Responsibilities
- Shop Maintenance: Keep service bays, tool areas, and common spaces clean, organized, and safe.
- Technician Support: Assist senior mechanics with basic maintenance tasks (oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations) and help set up/break down equipment for complex repairs.
- Vehicle Logistics: Safely move customer vehicles in and around the shop area.
- Inventory & Parts: Assist in receiving parts deliveries, organizing inventory, and running errands as needed.
- Quality Control: Perform basic cleaning or detailing on customer vehicles after service to ensure they are returned in top condition.
Qualifications
- Passion for Cars: A genuine interest in automotive repair, particularly European and luxury makes.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a "can-do" attitude.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a shop environment.
- License: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Skills: Basic familiarity with hand tools is a plus; we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates an eagerness to learn.
